Heating burners for foundries
IBEDA heating burners are used in many ways in foundries.
The uniform and flawless quality of cast iron demands that crucibles, casting channels, and chill-moulds are completely free of moisture prior to the casting. In order to comply with this requirements, those parts must be preheated. IBEDA offers the appropriate technology for all application areas; from manually operated preheating burners to heating systems with automatic ignition and flame monitoring functions.
The design of the burners depends on the on-site requirements. Here, lane burners, ring burners, segment burners, or adjustable heating burners can be employed. In most cases natural gas or propane in combination with compressed air will be used as fuel gas.
When using compressed air as Oxygen carrier, the use of the IBEDA-ECO-Ven provides the option to reduce the amount of compressed air and with that creating a cost reduction of up to 75% when compared with standard injectors. Of course, IBEDA also offers you the respective gas manifold systems and tapping points for your heating burner, including all safety equipment that is necessary for the fail-safe operation.
