The IBEDA seminars

We offer seminars on the subject of gas safety technology, with a focus on "Testing safety devices". With your participation you will receive the status of a competent person according to TRBS 1203 (Technical Rules for Operational Safety) to carry out the legally required inspection of safety devices with multiple function according to DIN EN ISO 5175-1 and -2 in accordance with TRBS 1201.

The approximately two-hour training can take place either in person at our premises in Neustadt/Wied or online via Zoom and covers the following topics:

• Applicable regulations, standards and guidelines
• Function of flashback arrestors and quick-action hose couplings
• Applications
• How to select a suitable product (working pressure, flow rate, connection sizes)
• Annual testing of gas safety devices
• Training in testing flashback arrestors by means of the IBEDA testing unit PV-GD
• Quality characteristics of safety devices

Upon successful completion of the seminar, the participants receive a training certificate. This certificate confirms the competence for doing the “annual testing of safety devices”.
